Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Senior Value Engineer focused on the public sector, you will drive AI and data-driven business transformation for Fortune 500 government customers, orchestrating their end-to-end value journey using the Celonis platform.
You will own customer outcomes from initial discovery through realized ROI, combining technical execution with consulting and program management. Your responsibilities include uncovering organizational challenges through deep discovery, crafting executive narratives around business value, and leading transformation workshops. You will cultivate executive sponsorship across business units, co-own change management initiatives, and design Centers of Excellence roadmaps that build customer self-sufficiency.
As an AI-fluent operator, you will leverage AI tools and copilots to generate rapid technical outputs while partnering with Applied Value Engineers on complex solution builds. You will steer global transformations across multiple workstreams, implement AI-driven account planning, and automate executive governance (QBRs, steering committees). You will also build strategic expansion roadmaps embedding Celonis as a core platform and provide feedback to R&D based on evolving customer use cases.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in Value Engineering, Consulting, or Pre-Sales managing complex workstreams and customer relationships. You need solid background in enterprise IT and business software (SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle), with proven expertise in process improvement and value realization. You must demonstrate strategic program and stakeholder management experience, orchestrating multi-region transformations and mobilizing VP/Director-level sponsorship. Deep understanding of financial processes in the public sector domain is essential. A technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics) or Business/Economics degree with technical minor is required. Critically, you must possess an active Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred). No visa sponsorship is offered.
