Celonis is seeking a Senior Value Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers in the CPG and retail sectors, helping them achieve strategic goals and realize significant value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role owns the end-to-end customer value journey—from initial landing through expansion, adoption, and renewal.
You will translate customer strategic priorities into high-impact use cases, building compelling business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks. You'll conduct value assessments and proof-of-value projects, presenting findings and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives. Your responsibilities include facilitating business value workshops to identify process enhancement opportunities, deriving improvement measures across core business functions, and initiating enterprise-wide change initiatives.
You will manage the complete customer expansion roadmap, embedding Celonis as a strategic business transformation platform within client organizations to drive adoption and expansion. You'll present realized value to senior management, collaborate with Celonis Services and partner ecosystem, and provide feedback to product development teams on new use cases and platform enhancements.
Required qualifications include native-level German proficiency (essential for leading customer workshops, executive presentations, and stakeholder management in German). You need analytical experience demonstrating value through business data analysis and software deployment, ideally in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting roles at SaaS providers or consultancies. Alternatively, inhouse experience in Centers of Excellence for Data Mining, Analytics, or Intelligence within enterprises is valued.
You should have solid knowledge of business software and SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience implementing RPA and/or BI tools, building dashboards and apps, and proficiency in Python and/or SQL. Experience collaborating with IT teams is important. You'll need proven expertise in identifying business process improvement use cases, deploying improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users to realize value. Strong project management skills are essential—you'll manage multiple projects across aligned accounts at different value journey stages, leveraging the Celonis partner ecosystem.
