Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 / annual
Amca is building America's advanced industrial base, operating seven factories nationwide to manufacture critical components and subsystems for defense and aerospace platforms including the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, A320neo, and military vehicles. The Senior Technical Sourcer will own top-of-funnel talent acquisition for Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Supply Chain engineering roles, identifying and engaging passive candidates before they reach traditional recruiters.
Key responsibilities include partnering with recruiters and hiring managers across technical disciplines to understand role requirements and team dynamics; building tailored sourcing strategies and talent maps for mechanical design engineers, electrical/hardware engineers, embedded software engineers, and supply chain professionals; proactively identifying and engaging passive candidates primarily via LinkedIn Recruiter supplemented by professional associations and engineering forums; adapting Boolean search strategies to each technical discipline; and writing personalized, compelling outreach messages that generate strong response rates.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of technical recruiting or sourcing experience across multiple disciplines (engineering and/or supply chain), with demonstrated top-performer metrics. Required skills include hands-on proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter (Boolean search, InMail strategy, talent pools) and Greenhouse (pipeline management, candidate tagging, reporting). The role demands the ability to quickly learn and speak credibly across different technical vocabularies—understanding the distinction between controls engineers and design engineers, or demand planners versus sourcing specialists. Excellent written communication is essential for crafting outreach that resonates with diverse candidate audiences. The sourcer must thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities across concurrent searches, maintain a data-driven mindset to track metrics and adjust approach, and possess genuine curiosity about hardware, engineering, and supply chain operations. Full-time on-site presence in El Segundo, CA is required. ITAR compliance required: applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons.
