Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter for Deployment Operations. You will own the end-to-end hiring process for highly technical field engineering teams deployed to hazardous zones, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and a master of specialized defense talent acquisition.
In this role, you will drive full-cycle hiring strategy with clear communication and reporting to leadership. You'll conduct high-volume interviews, demonstrating strong interview-to-offer conversion ratios and the ability to influence hiring manager preferences. Your sourcing approach will leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, referrals, and SOBO campaigns to engage passive candidates in competitive markets where top talent is employed at established aerospace and hardware companies.
You'll build trust through consistency and strong operating rhythms with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring positive candidate experiences at every touchpoint while driving diverse talent into the organization. Success requires understanding production organization structures, field engineering roles, and the ability to sell a high-growth defense environment to candidates with decades of experience at established primes.
Required: 8+ years of high-volume talent acquisition with meaningful exposure to field engineering, deployments, and logistics; 5+ years managing hiring managers and advising on talent strategies; experience managing high-volume candidate pipelines; ability to be onsite at Costa Mesa and travel as needed; U.S. Person status for access to export-controlled information.
Preferred: experience recruiting for field engineering and logistics in military, defense, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or advanced manufacturing; consultative approach with track record of improving outcomes; familiarity with technical product maintenance roles; self-sufficiency and ability to work autonomously; clear communication skills and adaptability.
