Salary: USD 123,500 - 148,200 / annual
Torc Robotics, now part of the Daimler family, is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to scale the organization's hiring efforts. The company is a leader in autonomous driving software, specifically focused on developing solutions for automated trucks.
In this full life cycle recruiting role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and partnering with engineering hiring teams to achieve annual hiring goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Executing end-to-end recruitment processes from initial screening through offer negotiation and close, ensuring exceptional candidate experience
- Developing and maintaining a strategic pipeline of qualified candidates, keeping them engaged throughout the hiring process
- Supporting networking and outreach efforts (online and offline) to build employer brand, reduce time-to-hire, and identify top technical talent
- Using direct sourcing strategies to identify and recruit software engineers and other technical talent
- Partnering with engineering leaders to set recruiting strategy and influence hiring outcomes
- Managing diverse workloads independently in a fast-paced environment, making judgment-based decisions aligned with company policies
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, with minimum 6+ years in engineering industry recruiting
- Proven experience hiring software engineers
- Strong direct sourcing capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to build productive partnerships with hiring managers and leaders
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse ATS preferred)
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate proactively
Preferred qualifications:
- Autonomous vehicle (AV) industry experience
- Global recruiting experience, particularly in Canada
- Track record of building and scaling technical talent pipelines
