Datadog is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market efforts for its rapidly expanding security product portfolio. As the first hire in this specialized role, you will own the technical marketing strategy for Datadog's security offerings, translating complex cloud-native security capabilities into compelling narratives that drive awareness, adoption, and competitive differentiation. Key responsibilities include defining and executing the technical marketing plan across product launches and scaled adoption phases. You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales Engineering, and Enablement teams to craft differentiated messaging, influence roadmap decisions, and build integrated solution narratives. You'll create high-impact sales enablement tools including battlecards, investigation flows, objection handling guides, and competitive workshops. You'll lead competitive strategy by synthesizing market insights and producing content that positions Datadog as a differentiated leader in cloud-native security. Acting as a technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor, you'll coach field teams, review enablement content, and influence internal strategy. You'll represent Datadog at customer briefings, industry events, and webinars as a go-to voice on observability and security. Required qualifications include 8+ years in technical product marketing, developer relations, product management, solutions engineering, or related roles in cloud or security domains. You should have demonstrated subject matter expertise in cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes), threat detection and incident response, security operations, compliance, or data privacy. A strong portfolio of technical content—demos, diagrams, enablement materials, technical blogs, or training sessions—is essential. You must be an excellent communicator who can craft clear narratives, present to diverse audiences, and translate technical depth into business value. Proven ability to drive cross-functional go-to-market initiatives and influence roadmap direction is required. A strategic mindset with bias for action, focusing on impact over volume and thriving in fast-paced environments, is critical.
