Braze's Expert Services team is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to own project delivery and technical solutioning across a portfolio of customer implementation engagements. This role uniquely bridges delivery management and hands-on technical architecture, requiring the ability to move fluidly between program leadership and deep technical work depending on what each customer engagement demands.
You will own end-to-end customer implementation projects from onboarding through go-live, serving as both the delivery lead and technical resource. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing technical solutions (SDK and API integrations), managing project timelines and scope, engaging with customer stakeholders from C-suite to end users, and proactively resolving roadblocks—whether project risks or technical blockers. You'll act as the technical bridge between Braze and the customer's product and engineering teams, translating business requirements into actionable technical plans.
Additional responsibilities include documenting technical requirements and integration details for handoff to Customer Success, coordinating with customer agencies and third parties, driving early adoption and KPI definition, advocating customer use cases to Braze product development, and delivering enablement training and workshops. You'll maintain both the organizational discipline of a delivery manager and the technical depth of a technical architect, applying continuous improvement to delivery and technical processes.
You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Delivery Managers, and other Technical Architects to ensure customers achieve rapid time to value and optimal ROI from their Braze investment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- 2 to 5 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in implementations, technical consulting, or customer success, with a track record spanning both project delivery and hands-on technical work
- Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with technical concepts such as SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Analytics, or programming (HTML, etc.), sufficient to own SDK/API integration workstreams directly
- Strong project management skills paired with genuine technical depth in APIs, SDKs, or related integration work
- Highly organized and reliable, with a continuous improvement mindset and discipline to keep project tracking consistently up to date
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, comfortable diagnosing both project and technical issues
- Natural collaborator who can manage conflicting priorities, motivate stakeholders, and thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable building with AI tools to accelerate workstreams and improve efficiency
