Salary: USD 90,000 - 128,000 / annual
Braze, a leading customer engagement platform, is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join its Expert Services team. This role owns project delivery and technical solutioning across a portfolio of customer implementation engagements.
You will lead end-to-end delivery of customer projects, taking on deep technical architecture and integration work as needed. You'll work alongside Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Delivery Managers, and other Technical Architects to ensure customers achieve rapid time to value and optimal ROI from their Braze investment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the execution of customer implementation engagements from onboarding through go-live, serving as the deep technical resource for designing integrations and solutions.
- Design and implement technical solutions, including SDK and API integrations, while managing timeline, scope, and stakeholder alignment.
- Engage with customer stakeholders at all levels to understand business and technical goals and build credible relationships.
- Monitor progress and proactively resolve roadblocks—whether project risks or technical blockers—to keep engagements on track.
- Act as the technical conduit between Braze and the customer's product and engineering teams, translating requirements into actionable technical plans.
- Document stakeholder roles, technical requirements, and integration details to support smooth handoff to Customer Success teams.
- Coordinate with customer agencies and third parties to maintain alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Drive early adoption, set KPIs and success metrics, and apply best practices for fast time to value.
- Advocate customer use cases to product development and stay current on Braze platform capabilities.
- Improve delivery and technical processes, and deliver enablement training tailored to each customer.
- Maintain both the organizational discipline of a Delivery Manager and the technical depth of a Technical Architect, as projects require.
You are someone who has built a career at the intersection of people and technology, comfortable managing project timelines one day and getting hands-on with integrations the next. You have demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with technical concepts such as SaaS, mobile, APIs, marketing automation, analytics, or programming (HTML, etc.), sufficient to own SDK/API integration workstreams directly. You are highly organized and reliable with a continuous improvement mindset. You possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, comfortable diagnosing both project and technical issues. You are a natural collaborator who can manage conflicting priorities and thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You have strong listening and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are comfortable building with AI tools to accelerate workstreams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 2 to 5 years in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in implementations, technical consulting, or customer success, with a track record spanning both project delivery and hands-on technical work.
- Strong project management skills paired with genuine technical depth in APIs, SDKs, or related integration work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
