Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 / annual
Anomali is hiring a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join its US-based Customer Success team. You will be the primary accountable owner of customer adoption journeys, from onboarding through full production maturity. This role combines deep technical expertise in security operations and threat intelligence with executive presence to build lasting relationships with analysts, directors, and CISOs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a power user of the Anomali Platform, helping customers achieve their security and threat intelligence goals
- Own the end-to-end customer adoption lifecycle, acting as the single accountable owner of customer outcomes
- Plan and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive business reviews (EBRs) with senior stakeholders, translating technical usage into business value and security outcomes
- Identify expansion and renewal risk signals from usage data and stakeholder relationships, surfacing them to CSM and AE partners
- Address technical requests proactively and resolve issues
- Provide technical guidance and best-practice recommendations to ensure successful adoption
- Manage customer expectations while holding them accountable
- Serve as customer advocate and internal champion
- Track key account metrics and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with Onboarding Engineers, Technical Support, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to ensure exceptional customer experience
The position is fully remote within the US, though candidates local to the Bay Area may work a hybrid schedule at the Redwood City, CA headquarters. Travel up to 25% is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or 3+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical customer success, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar role, preferably in SaaS or technology companies with cybersecurity focus
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and building trust with senior security leadership (Director/VP/CISO level), including running QBRs/EBRs that connect technical adoption to business outcomes
- Significant experience in enterprise accounts, SecOps, and Threat Intelligence
- Expertise with at least one SIEM product (Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, etc.), including implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization
- Knowledge of security technologies and architectures: SOAR, SIEM, Firewalls, EDR/XDR, Security Controls & Logs
- Strong grasp of general networking concepts and proficiency with various operating systems
- Proficiency with relevant log telemetry (network, identity, etc.)
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects as a lead and team player; adept influencer at senior executive level
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with high operational tempo
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with tools like Gainsight, Salesforce, and JIRA
- Customer-first attitude; listener who is customer-oriented and attentive to needs
