Anomali is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join its US Customer Success team. The TAM serves as the primary owner of a customer's adoption journey from onboarding through full production maturity, combining deep technical expertise with executive presence to build lasting relationships with analysts, directors, and CISOs.
In this role, you will act as an Anomali Platform power user and advocate, guiding customers through their security operations maturity journey. Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end customer adoption lifecycle, planning and leading quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive business reviews (EBRs) that translate technical usage into business value and security outcomes, identifying expansion and renewal risk signals from usage data and stakeholder relationships, and addressing technical requests while proactively resolving issues.
You will provide technical advice and best practice recommendations to ensure customers use the platform effectively, monitor usage patterns, create custom dashboards, prove ROI and value, and build reference accounts. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams including Onboarding Engineers, Technical Support, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to ensure exceptional customer experiences and surface emerging customer needs.
As an advocate and internal champion for your customers, you will manage expectations while holding stakeholders accountable, track key account metrics, and communicate progress to both internal and external stakeholders. You will travel up to 25% of the time. Candidates local to the Bay Area may work a hybrid schedule at the Redwood City, CA headquarters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or 3+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical customer success, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar role, preferably in SaaS or technology companies with cybersecurity focus
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and building trust with senior security leadership (Director/VP/CISO level), including running QBRs/EBRs that connect technical adoption to business outcomes
- Significant experience working in enterprise accounts, SecOps, and Threat Intelligence
- Expertise with at least one SIEM product (Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, etc.) including implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization
- Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and architectures including SOAR, SIEM, Firewalls, EDR/XDR, Security Controls & Logs
- Strong grasp of general networking concepts and proficiency with various operating systems
- Proficiency with relevant log telemetry (network, Identity, etc.)
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects as a lead and team player; adept influencer at senior executive level
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure with high operational tempo
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with tools like Gainsight, Salesforce, and JIRA
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
