Anomali is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join its US Customer Success team. The TAM serves as the primary owner of a customer's adoption journey from onboarding through full production maturity, combining deep technical expertise with executive presence to build lasting relationships with security analysts, directors, and CISOs.
In this role, you will act as a power user of the Anomali Platform, helping customers achieve their security operations and threat intelligence goals. You will own the customer adoption lifecycle, plan and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive business reviews (EBRs) that translate technical usage into business value and security outcomes, and identify expansion and renewal opportunities from usage data and stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the single accountable owner of customer adoption outcomes
- Planning and leading QBRs/EBRs with analyst, director, and CISO-level stakeholders
- Identifying expansion and renewal risk signals and surfacing them to CSM/AE partners
- Addressing technical requests and proactively resolving issues
- Providing technical guidance to ensure successful platform usage
- Managing customer expectations while holding them accountable
- Acting as customer advocate and internal champion
- Tracking key account metrics and communicating progress to stakeholders
- Engaging with Onboarding Engineers, Technical Support, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to ensure exceptional customer experience
You will work with customers across enterprise accounts, SecOps, and Threat Intelligence, leveraging your knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, firewalls, EDR/XDR, and security controls to provide technical advice and best practice recommendations. The position is fully remote within the US, though candidates local to the Bay Area may work a hybrid schedule at the Redwood City, CA headquarters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or 3+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical customer success, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar role, preferably in SaaS or technology companies with cybersecurity focus
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and building trust with senior security leadership (Director/VP/CISO level), including running QBRs/EBRs that connect technical adoption to business outcomes
- Significant experience working in enterprise accounts, SecOps, and Threat Intelligence
- Expertise with at least one SIEM product (Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, etc.) including implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization
- Strong grasp of general networking concepts and proficiency with various operating systems
- Proficiency with relevant log telemetry (network, identity, etc.)
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects as a lead and team player; adept influencer at senior executive level
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; comfort solving technical and challenging issues
- Ability to work well under pressure with high operational tempo
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with tools like Gainsight, Salesforce, and JIRA
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future to work in the US
