Anomali is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join its US Customer Success team. The TAM serves as the primary owner of a customer's adoption journey from onboarding through full production maturity, combining deep technical fluency with executive presence to build lasting relationships with analysts, directors, and CISOs.
In this role, you will serve as an Anomali Platform power user and advocate for customers, guiding them through their security operations and threat intelligence maturity journey. You will plan and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive business reviews (EBRs) with senior stakeholders, translating technical platform usage into measurable business value and security outcomes. You will monitor customer usage patterns, create custom dashboards, make best practice recommendations, and build reference accounts that demonstrate ROI.
Key responsibilities include owning the customer adoption lifecycle and serving as the single accountable owner of that outcome; identifying expansion and renewal risk signals from usage data and stakeholder relationships; addressing technical requests and proactively resolving issues; providing technical guidance to ensure successful platform usage; managing customer expectations while holding them accountable; serving as the customer's internal champion; tracking key account metrics and communicating progress to stakeholders; engaging with onboarding engineers, technical support, engineering, sales, and product management teams to ensure exceptional customer experience; and promoting customer advocacy.
You will work with enterprise accounts in SecOps and Threat Intelligence, leveraging your knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, firewalls, EDR/XDR, and security controls. This is a remote position in the US, though candidates local to the Bay Area may work a hybrid schedule at the Redwood City, CA headquarters. Travel up to 25% of the time is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or 3+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical customer success, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar role, preferably in SaaS or technology companies with cybersecurity focus
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and building trust with senior security leadership (Director/VP/CISO level), including running QBRs/EBRs that connect technical adoption to business outcomes
- Significant experience working in enterprise accounts, SecOps, and Threat Intelligence
- Expertise with at least one SIEM product (Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, etc.) including implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization
- Experience with SOAR, SIEM, firewalls, EDR/XDR, and security controls & logs
- Strong grasp of general networking concepts and proficiency with various operating systems
- Proficiency with relevant log telemetry (network, identity, etc.)
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects as a lead and team player; adept influencer at senior executive level
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; enjoys solving technical and challenging issues
- Works well under pressure with high tempo of operations
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with tools like Gainsight, Salesforce, and JIRA
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
- Must not require visa sponsorship to work in the US (now or in the future)
