As a Senior Technical Account Manager for the Public Sector, you will drive customer adoption and operationalization of the Wiz platform across U.S. Federal civilian agencies, the Department of Defense, and the Defense Industrial Base. This role requires deep expertise in federal cloud security, FedRAMP authorization processes, and government-specific cloud offerings (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, GCP Assured Workloads).
You will serve as the primary technical advisor and liaison for government customers, guiding them through deployment, configuration, and operationalization using federal cloud-security best practices. Your responsibilities include:
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey, confidently addressing deployment, configuration, and operationalization challenges
- Serve as the primary technical liaison, driving resolution of complex architectural and operational challenges in federal cloud environments
- Lead customers toward full platform adoption and value realization, promoting excellence in Cloud, Code, and Runtime security
- Develop success plans with measurable goals aligned with customer security, compliance, and mission objectives
- Navigate complex federal organizational structures, building relationships with agency CISOs, Authorizing Officials, and technical practitioners
- Bridge customer needs with Wiz Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Support teams
Required qualifications include 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, Professional Services, Solutions Engineer) supporting cloud or cloud-security products, plus 8+ years working in or supporting the U.S. Federal Government, Military, or Defense Industrial Base. You must have hands-on experience with major cloud service providers' government offerings, FedRAMP authorization processes, federal security standards (NIST 800-53, DoD CC SRG, DISA STIGs, FIPS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps technologies (CI/CD, IaC), and Linux/Windows security.
Preferred qualifications include advanced CSP certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional), security certifications (CISSP, CCSP), and proven ability to engage stakeholders from technical practitioners to Senior Executive Service members and Military Officers.
