The company recently became part of Google, combining its technology with Google's Threat Intelligence and Security Operations capabilities. As a Senior Technical Account Manager for the Public Sector, you will be the primary technical advisor and platform expert for government customers, including civilian federal agencies, the Department of Defense, and the Defense Industrial Base. Your role bridges customers and internal teams (Product, Sales, Engineering, Support) to deliver cohesive experiences for organizations with the most stringent security requirements. Key responsibilities include: - Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout customer onboarding, deployment, configuration, and operationalization - Guide customers through FedRAMP authorization processes and federal security requirements (NIST 800-53, DoD CC SRG, DISA STIGs, FIPS) - Provide expertise on cloud security across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and GCP Assured Workloads - Address complex technical challenges related to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps (CI/CD, IaC), and operating system security - Engage and influence stakeholders from technical practitioners to Senior Executive Service members, military officers, and agency CISOs - Drive customer adoption and effective use of the Wiz platform for mission-critical applications Required qualifications: - 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (TAM, Professional Services, Solutions Engineer) supporting cloud or cloud-security products - 8+ years working in or supporting U.S. Federal Government, Military, or Defense Industrial Base - Hands-on experience with major cloud service providers and their government-specific offerings - Practical knowledge of FedRAMP, federal security frameworks, and hardening requirements - Experience deploying and securing containerization and DevOps technologies - Strong Linux and Windows operating system security knowledge - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Preferred qualifications include advanced cloud certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional), security certifications (CISSP, CCSP), and exceptional communication skills for engaging senior government stakeholders.
