1Password is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to guide customers through their post-sale journey with the company's market-leading enterprise password manager and Unified Access Management platform. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor, supporting customers from implementation and integration through adoption, expansion, and renewal. You'll own technical relationships with enterprise customers, leading implementations including integrations, configuration, troubleshooting, and security reviews. Your responsibilities include advising customers on identity and access management, device trust, and SaaS security—translating complex technical concepts into measurable business outcomes. You'll work closely with Customer Success Managers, Implementation, Product, Support, and Enablement teams to identify risks, support customer health planning, and maximize long-term value. Key responsibilities include leading technical onboarding conversations with both technical and business stakeholders, proactively engaging customers to support adoption and expansion, representing customer needs internally by sharing insights with cross-functional teams, and creating scalable resources like playbooks and knowledge-base content. You'll also mentor peers and contribute to improving customer lifecycle processes. Required qualifications include at least four years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, or Implementation Consultant) within a SaaS or security-focused B2B environment. You need strong communication and storytelling skills, working knowledge of modern security frameworks (SSO, SCIM, SAML, OAuth) and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR), and the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment while collaborating effectively across teams. Preferred experience includes familiarity with AI technologies, password managers, SaaS lifecycle management, MDM, device posture tools, APIs, webhooks, integrations, or public cloud platforms. Experience mentoring peers or scaling customer lifecycle processes is also valued. This is a remote role available to candidates in the United States or Canada, with occasional travel for team onboarding, customer meetings, and industry events. The role reports to the Senior Director of Implementation.
