STOKE Space is building Nova, a fully reusable launch vehicle designed for daily flight to radically lower space launch costs and increase flight cadence. As a Senior Structural Analyst, you will own the structural integrity of a module or subsystem of the Nova launch vehicle, working on aerospace structures across launch vehicles and propulsion systems.
Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating structural analysis efforts across multiple engineers, mentoring a team of reliability engineers in structural integrity, and translating system-level structural requirements down to component designers. You will drive consistent structural analysis and test processes across your module or subsystem, develop methods and tools to support the module team, and drive gaps in material and loads databases to closure.
You will develop analysis models to substantiate parts and decompose loads to other team members, serve as technical review and approval authority for stress work of others, and develop loads and load cases while communicating them to stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify required structural testing, develop test plans, and participate in validation testing.
This role is ideal for analysts specializing in either launch vehicles or propulsion systems, or those with broad experience across both. You'll work as part of a small, well-supported team with access to resources needed to excel while rapidly advancing your skills in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
