Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize and activate data for compliance, risk management, and business growth. The company specializes in multilingual, AI/ML-based solutions for communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management across global financial institutions.
The Senior Strategic Account Manager is the most senior individual contributor within Behavox's Strategic Account Management function. This role combines direct account ownership with broader responsibility for defining engagement standards, building institutional knowledge, and serving as a field expert on high-stakes accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own a focused portfolio of 3–5 Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts representing the most complex, multi-product, multi-region, multi-stakeholder, high-ARR client relationships ($3M+ combined ARR per account)
- Lead full end-to-end account ownership including elevated executive access and commercial complexity; independently manage C-suite and Head-of-level relationships
- Serve as the escalation point for the most complex or commercially significant situations; deploy into at-risk accounts owned by other Strategic Account Managers to coach through resolution
- Define engagement standards across the function: QBRs, escalation management, account planning, hygiene, and commercial execution
- Create vertical playbooks for common scenarios, establish quality benchmarks and metrics, and validate hiring assessments and onboarding materials
- Lead internal learning sessions and workshops grounded in real account examples
- Represent Behavox at industry events and conferences; lead Customer Advisory Boards and CCO communities
- Participate actively in hiring and interview processes as a calibration voice on candidate quality
- Own renewal and expansion strategy for highest-ARR accounts; build value-led commercial plays grounded in customer intelligence
- Mentor Strategic Account Managers on account management, commercial reasoning, and executive engagement
Required Qualifications:
- Expert-level understanding of multi-product, multi-region deployments of communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management across Tier 1 financial institutions; understanding of how these systems interact within a client's broader controls framework
- Proven ability to independently build and sustain trusted advisory relationships with C-suite and Head-of-level compliance, risk, and technology leaders at global financial institutions
- Demonstrated experience defining engagement standards, processes, and playbooks for account management functions
- Track record of intervening in at-risk accounts, assessing complexity, stabilizing situations, and coaching team members through resolution
- Experience presenting to external audiences at industry events and conferences; ability to lead customer communities and industry working groups
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing high-ARR ($3M+) enterprise accounts through renewal and expansion cycles
