Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize and activate data for risk management, compliance, and business growth. The company specializes in enterprise compliance technology, including communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management for global financial institutions.
The Senior Strategic Account Manager is the most senior individual contributor in Behavox's Strategic Account Management function. This role combines direct account ownership with broader responsibility for defining engagement standards and building institutional knowledge across the team.
Key responsibilities include:
**Account Ownership**: Manage a focused portfolio of 3–5 Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts representing the most complex, multi-product, multi-region, multi-stakeholder relationships ($3M+ combined ARR). Own full end-to-end delivery, health, commercial outcomes, and executive relationships independently, including C-suite and Head-of-level engagement.
**Escalation & Intervention**: Serve as the escalation point for the most complex or commercially significant situations before they reach leadership. Deploy into at-risk accounts owned by other Strategic Account Managers to assess, stabilize, and coach through resolution without displacing ownership.
**Function Leadership**: Define engagement standards across QBRs, escalation management, account planning, hygiene, and commercial execution. Create vertical playbooks for common scenarios, establish quality benchmarks and metrics, validate hiring assessments and onboarding materials, and lead internal learning sessions grounded in real account examples.
**External Representation**: Attend and speak at industry events and conferences on behalf of Behavox. Lead Customer Advisory Boards and CCO communities. Participate actively in hiring and interview processes as a calibration voice on candidate quality.
**Required Expertise**: Expert-level understanding of multi-product, multi-region deployments of enterprise compliance technology at Tier 1 financial institutions. Ability to independently build and sustain trusted advisory relationships with the most senior compliance, risk, and technology leaders. Proven track record defining standards and processes that scale across teams.
