Salary: USD 165,500 - 289,600 / annual

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Cloud FinOps Analyst to join the Global Cloud Services organization and lead the Public Cloud Cost & Usage governance team. This is a strategic role reporting to the Director of Cloud FinOps, responsible for establishing long-range planning and monthly forecasting of public cloud costs and usage across AWS, GCP, and Azure. Key responsibilities include: - Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending across multiple cloud providers - Develop and maintain cloud cost forecasting models - Manage commit-based discounts to optimize long-term costs and track utilization - Define and implement cost allocation strategies to measure unit-metrics such as cost per customer and cost per instance - Provide visibility and insights into cloud expenses through dashboards and reports - Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement cost-effective cloud solutions and ensure efficient resource usage - Define and promote best practices for cloud cost governance - Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in cost management - Work with cloud service providers on demand planning and capacity reservation - Partner with GTM and sales teams on customer migration planning and tracking - Lead cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, Finance, and Executive Leadership The role requires expertise in managing public cloud migrations and working with experienced cloud engineers, customer experience specialists, product managers, and data engineers to capture value across the organization. Requirements: - 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; OR 8 years with a Master's degree; OR a PhD with 5 years experience in a relevant field (Finance, IT, Cloud Computing, or Business); OR equivalent experience - Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a FinOps or cloud financial management role - Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud providers (strong plus) - Deep knowledge of cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Google Cloud Billing) - Strong experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and enterprise-level cost optimization strategies - Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and partner closely with Engineering, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams - Full professional proficiency in English (mandatory) - Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to present financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Proactive and self-driven mindset Nice to Have: - FinOps Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - Experience with automation tools for cost management
