Fieldguide is an AI-powered audit and assurance platform serving the global accounting profession. The company has raised $125M+ from top-tier VCs (Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, Y Combinator, and others) and counts over 50% of the top-100 CPA firms as customers, including several Big 4 firms. Fieldguide's AI agents help audit practitioners save up to 75% of time on manual tasks and unlock 4x capacity.
As Director of Financial Audit for EMEA, you will be the region's financial audit leader and key driver for scaling Fieldguide's platform across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will own four interconnected areas:
**EMEA Audit Methodology & Partnerships:** Define and structure Fieldguide's out-of-the-box methodology content aligned with ISA (UK), ISA as adopted in the EU, and other local frameworks. Evaluate and incorporate partner-provided industry procedures, testing approaches, and practice guidance. Build and manage relationships with EMEA standard-setters, professional bodies (FRC, ICAEW, ACCA, national institutes), and regulators. Refine methodology and engagement templates based on practitioner feedback.
**AI Collaboration:** Partner with AI architects and engineers to translate professional standards and practitioner judgment into prompts, workflows, and guardrails for integrated methodologies and testing agents. Direct localization and customization of Fieldguide's AI agents and audit workflows for EMEA, local GAAS/ISA nuances, regulatory reporting, and firm-specific configurations. Collaborate with Engineering and Product to prioritize EMEA-specific platform requirements.
**Go-to-Market Partnership:** Act as the financial audit subject-matter expert for the EMEA GTM team, leading customer demos and technical validation sprints. Represent Fieldguide on customer onsites, building credibility with firm leadership and technical evaluators. Partner with Sales on deal strategy for complex or strategic EMEA opportunities.
**Implementation Partnership & Regional Leadership:** Serve as the financial audit business sponsor for EMEA customer implementations and escalation point for complex issues. Monitor customer health and methodology fit, feeding insights back into product and methodology roadmaps. Advise the Head of Audit and cross-functional leadership on EMEA financial audit priorities. Recruit, mentor, and develop financial audit EMEA team members as the team scales.
