Salary: USD 110,000 - 117,000 / annual
Skylo is a global Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) service provider pioneering standards-based satellite connectivity. The company connects smartphones and IoT devices directly to satellites without special hardware, with direct-to-device service already live across five continents covering 72+ million square kilometers. Skylo operates at the intersection of consumer devices, automotive, and industrial IoT, partnering with leading satellite operators, mobile network operators, chipset makers, and OEMs worldwide.
You will join Skylo's Finance team as a Senior Staff Accountant, playing a key role in accounting operations for a growing global technology company. This is a hands-on role supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes while identifying opportunities to improve processes and build stronger accounting infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include: supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process; preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and prepaids; maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules; assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and fixed assets accounting; reviewing financial activity and investigating variances; preparing monthly financial statements and management reporting; maintaining accurate GAAP-compliant records; assisting with audits, tax filings, and compliance; partnering with FP&A, People, Legal, and Procurement teams; maintaining and strengthening accounting policies and internal controls; identifying automation and process improvement opportunities; supporting finance systems implementation; and conducting ad hoc financial analysis.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment
NICE TO HAVE:
- CPA or progress toward CPA certification
- Experience at a high-growth technology company
- Experience with SaaS, telecommunications, hardware, or other technology businesses
- Experience with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite
- Experience supporting audits and implementing accounting controls
- Experience working with international entities or global accounting operations
