Zscaler is seeking a Senior Specialist Sales Engineer to lead technical strategy and customer engagement across ASEAN for its Zero Trust Cloud platform. You will serve as the primary technical authority on Zero Trust Architecture in cloud environments, with deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP. This hybrid role is based in Singapore and reports to the Specialist Solution Director within the Zero Trust Cloud team.
Your core responsibilities include acting as the technical expert and strategic advisor for customers across ASEAN, guiding them on securing workloads and traffic in hybrid and multi-cloud environments using Zscaler's Zero Trust Architecture. You will lead high-level conversations about Zero Trust security trends, strategies, and deployment with customers at all organizational levels—from practitioners to executives. You'll run customer Proof-of-Value engagements in collaboration with Sales Engineers, demonstrating Zscaler's unique value proposition and competitive positioning.
You will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and product management teams to provide technical insights that directly influence the product roadmap. Acting as a critical link between field teams and Product Management, you'll drive both internal and customer-facing enablement for Zero Trust Cloud use cases to accelerate the regional go-to-market strategy. You'll provide competitive intelligence and position Zscaler solutions as the best alternative in the market.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in technical sales, systems engineering, or enterprise security architecture, with hands-on expertise in security, networking, and applications. You must have practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies, including experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent certifications/experience) is required. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential for engaging diverse audiences.
Preferred qualifications include experience architecting security frameworks for AI/ML workloads and LLM data pipelines in public cloud environments, and familiarity with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Private Access (ZPA), or similar enterprise-grade SSE/SASE/Cloud Security solutions.
