Shield AI, a venture-backed defense-tech company founded in 2015, is seeking a Senior Sourcer to join its rapidly expanding talent acquisition team across EMEA and APJ regions. In this role, you will own talent discovery and pipeline development for critical Go-to-Market and Engineering hiring initiatives.
You will serve as the expert in market mapping and proactive candidate generation, building intelligence and relationships that fuel Shield AI's engineering hiring engine. This is not a transactional resume-screening role, but rather a strategic position focused on developing repeatable sourcing systems, cultivating deep candidate pipelines, and translating complex, specialized hiring needs into precision sourcing strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting market research and competitive intelligence to identify talent pools for specialized engineering and go-to-market roles
- Building and maintaining relationships with passive candidates, industry networks, and talent communities
- Developing and executing proactive sourcing campaigns using research, outreach, and relationship-building
- Creating scalable sourcing processes and systems that support high-volume, high-quality candidate pipelines
- Partnering closely with hiring managers and recruiters to understand nuanced role requirements and candidate profiles
- Tracking sourcing metrics and continuously optimizing strategy based on pipeline quality and hiring outcomes
