Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join the Majors Solutions Engineering team, a customer-facing technical expert group driving worldwide growth. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with open-source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space.
You will partner closely with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. Your responsibilities include owning technical engagement with customers, delivering product and technical presentations, and helping close high-velocity opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical credibility. You'll proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape, driving product conversations based on customer needs and problems identified during interactions.
The role requires strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership in a startup environment where job duties are varied and complex. You'll work with an international team in a remote-first company, requiring first-class written and oral communication skills to articulate technical advantages and value propositions to worldwide customers. Additional responsibilities include enhancing documentation, writing blog posts, recording videos, and creating enablement materials.
