Keyfactor is the leader in trust infrastructure for AI and machines, helping enterprises and government agencies manage cryptographic identities that safeguard digital interactions. As a Senior Solutions Engineer in the Federal East region, you will be a technical expert embedded in the sales organization, responsible for demonstrating how Keyfactor's products solve complex customer challenges across verticals including medical services, manufacturing, financial services, and Fortune 2000 companies.
You will lead technical discussions with key clients to understand their requirements and provide advanced solutions aligned with business objectives. You'll drive solution development for key accounts, ensuring tailored and technically robust implementations. Working alongside Integration Engineers and Sales Directors, you'll design solutions that align Keyfactor's capabilities with prospect needs.
Key responsibilities include: conducting advanced technical guidance to internal teams and clients as a subject matter expert; contributing to strategic sales initiatives through deep product knowledge; collaborating cross-functionally with product management and engineering to ensure customer requirements align with product capabilities; staying current on industry trends and competitor offerings; serving as a trusted advisor to clients; mentoring junior team members; and participating in product testing to provide actionable feedback.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; extensive experience leading technical discussions and solution development for enterprise accounts; demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic sales initiatives and mentor junior engineers; strategic thinking for sales strategy development; adaptability to evolving market dynamics; ability to independently drive large customer meetings (onsite and virtual) to develop architecture and deployment roadmaps; familiarity with enterprise software, identity, and security solutions; knowledge of networking fundamentals (Exchange, Active Directory, PKI, Digital Certificates, DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancers); experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Security certifications (CISSP, etc.) are a plus. Travel up to 25% expected. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
