Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer specializing in Cloudflare One to serve as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers. In this senior individual-contributor role, you will partner with account teams and customers to design, demonstrate, and validate integrated solutions across Zero Trust security, enterprise WAN connectivity, and emerging AI technologies.
Your primary focus will be Zero Trust architecture, with enterprise WAN and AI security as secondary priorities. You will lead the technical path for complex opportunities, translating customer risks, operational requirements, and business priorities into architectures that give stakeholders confidence to adopt Cloudflare's platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a trusted technical advisor, leading discovery and designing Cloudflare One architectures addressing security, connectivity, and business requirements
- Guiding qualified opportunities through solution design, demonstrations, technical evaluations, proofs of value, and technical close
- Advising customers on Zero Trust strategies spanning identity-aware access, secure web gateway, data protection, SaaS security, browser isolation, device posture, and secure connectivity
- Designing WAN transformation solutions connecting users, offices, data centers, and cloud environments
- Building expertise in AI-era security opportunities including employee AI adoption, Shadow AI detection, sensitive-data exposure prevention, and agentic AI governance
- Using AI tools thoughtfully to improve research, customer preparation, technical analysis, and field activities
- Articulating Cloudflare's technical and business differentiation against competing solutions
- Partnering with sales teams on account strategy, pipeline development, and revenue goals
- Creating reusable architectures, demonstration patterns, and technical guidance to coach peers
- Capturing customer feedback and market trends for Product and Engineering teams
Successful candidates bring meaningful customer-facing Zero Trust experience and practical enterprise WAN experience. Email Security experience is welcome but not required. You do not need to be an expert in every technology, but must connect these services into coherent customer strategy and develop expertise as the market evolves.
