Twilio is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its Digital Sales segment. This is a pre-sales technical role focused on enabling customers to build communications solutions using Twilio's platform.
You will partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proof-of-concept projects, RFP responses, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions. Your primary responsibility is to deliver the technical win and ensure product fit by leading the technical pre-sales relationship, conducting discovery, proposing technical architectures, demonstrating products, and offering creative solutions to customer concerns.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will independently manage low to mid-complexity opportunities, gaining exposure to all aspects of the deal cycle while building comprehensive knowledge of Twilio's technology and sales processes. You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their technical pain points through discovery and designing innovative solutions that address business challenges. You'll build and present interactive, complex product demonstrations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, forming strong customer relationships.
You will be hands-on, high-energy, and a creative problem solver who identifies and resolves issues to improve team efficiency and effectiveness. You may lead the design and execution of small to medium technical projects with limited oversight. Additionally, you'll contribute to the broader Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing, constructing demonstration materials, and creating reusable presentations.
Twilio is a remote-first company, though you may be asked to report in person on an ad-hoc basis for team gatherings, functional off-sites, or customer meetings.
