Salary: USD 150,000 - 175,000 / annual
SingleStore is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with sales teams and channel partners in identifying and solving complex data challenges. You will work directly with prospective and current customers to understand pain points where SingleStore's real-time data platform can deliver value, designing and deploying proofs of concept, and providing technical leadership throughout the sales cycle.
In this role, you'll serve as the technical subject matter expert during customer evaluations, handling query tuning, load testing, and architecture validation. You'll deliver value-based demonstrations and presentations to both technical and executive audiences, translating complex database concepts into business impact. You'll also partner with internal product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and inform product direction.

Required qualifications include a minimum of 7 years in technical pre-sales roles, with deep expertise in large-scale database and data warehousing technologies. You must demonstrate proficiency in ANSI SQL, at least one of Python/Scala/Java, and familiarity with data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Flink, or Airflow. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware) is required. You should be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
