OneTrust is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise and product evaluation support for the OneTrust AI-Ready Governance Platform. The platform unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows to enable responsible innovation at scale.
In this role, you will serve as the technical expert during major sales opportunities, preparing and delivering proposals, product demonstrations, RFPs, and custom proof-of-concepts to prospective customers. You will conduct deep technical discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices for implementing OneTrust's capabilities. Your responsibilities include supporting sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options, while coordinating with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner teams to stay current on product capabilities and future direction.
You will develop a clear understanding of the privacy and data governance industry, including the regulatory environment, and use this knowledge to support all primary responsibilities. You will keep up with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to position OneTrust effectively.
Required qualifications include a BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, plus 2+ years of relevant experience in the technology industry or enterprise cloud-based software companies. You should have expertise selling, configuring, and delivering software demonstrations, as well as implementing software products to enterprise customers. Strong relationship-building skills across R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering teams are essential, along with entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a complex, rapidly evolving environment. The role requires willingness to travel 10-20% of the time.
Nice-to-have skills include hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS, PowerShell scripting, ASP.NET, and C#, plus advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming.
OneTrust operates an office-first culture with expectations of three days per week in office for most roles, though specific requirements may vary by position.
