Maven AGI is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to drive adoption of its AI-powered customer support agents. The role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and sales acumen, requiring someone who can translate customer challenges into tailored AI solutions that deliver measurable ROI.
You will lead technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept exercises, guiding prospects through Maven's capabilities in autonomous customer interaction and issue resolution. You'll partner directly with sales teams to scope engagements, understand customer pain points, and design solutions that address specific business goals. As the primary technical resource for POC engagements, you'll ensure successful outcomes that build customer confidence and drive deals forward.
Key responsibilities include customer discovery conversations with stakeholders ranging from VPs of Support to CTOs, implementation planning that captures requirements and enables smooth handoffs to post-sales teams, and demo development using AI-assisted tools to showcase product capabilities. You'll also gather customer insights to inform product development.
The ideal candidate is obsessively curious, comfortable with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot), and technically fluent in NodeJS/NextJS/TypeScript. You understand enterprise AI concepts like RAG, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval at a conceptual level. You have a sales-focused mindset with previous sales engineering or pre-sales experience, strong communication skills for presenting to senior audiences, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity without a playbook.
Technical requirements include familiarity with NodeJS/NextJS/TypeScript, regular use of AI development tools, foundational SDLC/CI-CD knowledge, basic cloud infrastructure understanding (AWS/GCP/Azure), security and compliance awareness, and REST API experience. Nice-to-haves include ETL/data integration experience, customer support operations background, and familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, or Freshdesk.
