Fin, an AI Customer Agent company, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join the Customer Solutions Team in San Francisco. This role bridges the gap between customers and the product, serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
You will lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers to understand their support challenges and articulate how Fin's AI-powered solutions address their needs. Key responsibilities include designing and leading proof-of-concepts (POCs) that demonstrate Fin's capabilities, conducting value-based solution reviews, and managing complex RFP responses and security assessments. You'll work directly with C-level stakeholders, translating their business challenges into tailored technical solutions.
Cross-functional collaboration is central to the role. You'll partner closely with Product, R&D, and Engineering teams to gather customer feedback, represent the customer voice in product planning discussions, and continuously improve the Solutions Engineering playbook. Your technical acumen and ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences will be essential.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, with a track record of managing high-level customer relationships and conducting impactful technical presentations. You should be an independent problem-solver who thrives in collaborative environments, with strong time management and the ability to quickly identify and communicate value propositions. Experience with POCs, RFPs, security assessments, and working closely with product teams is expected. You'll approach challenges with empathy and curiosity, commit to customer success, and be willing to travel occasionally.
