Hydrolix is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its EMEA team, supporting a cloud data platform built for petabyte-scale analytics. This is a hybrid role based in Germany, Spain, Italy, or the UK, with remote flexibility. You will be a technical bridge between prospects, customers, and the Hydrolix product team. Your responsibilities span pre-sales solutions architecture, post-sales customer success, and technical presales engagements. Day-to-day, you'll work directly with customers and prospects to help them deploy and optimize Hydrolix across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Key activities include: - Lead technical presales and solutions architecture for new and existing customers - Deliver customer projects end-to-end: deployments, integrations, configurations - Understand customer business objectives and data challenges; translate them into technical solutions - Provide expert guidance on data ingestion, transformation, dashboarding, APIs, and performance optimization - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues - Contribute to product documentation, customer training materials, and technical blogs - Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers realize their data management goals You bring 5+ years in a Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Technical Presales role. You're trained in a sales methodology (MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Solution Selling, etc.). You have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Technical background includes: - Database management systems and data platforms (SQL fluency required) - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Kubernetes, Spark, Databricks, Splunk, Grafana, Python - CDN technologies Language requirements: Fluent English and German required; Italian accepted as alternative to German. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
