Braze is hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant to lead complex pre-sales engagements for the Retail segment across the Americas. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers, owning the full sales cycle from discovery through close. You'll lead structured discovery conversations to uncover customer goals and constraints, then map them to Braze solutions. You'll deliver tailored product demonstrations, workshops, and technical deep dives to both business and technical stakeholders, and design/support technical validations and proofs-of-concept that build customer confidence. You'll partner deeply with Account Executives, segment leadership, and cross-functional teams (Security, Legal, Product, Services) to develop account strategy, address risk and implementation considerations, and ensure clean handoffs to post-sales teams. A key part of this role is growing team capability through mentorship—you'll contribute to reusable assets like demo stories, discovery guides, and objection handling frameworks, while raising the bar on quality and consistency across the Solutions Consulting team. You'll also stay current on new Braze capabilities, including AI features like AI Decisioning Studio, AI Operator, and AI Agents, and help customers adopt these in practical, grounded ways. This role requires up to 50% travel at peak times and is based in one of Braze's hub offices. You should be a strong communicator comfortable leading sophisticated sales cycles, navigating ambiguity with structure, and collaborating across teams. Domain knowledge in two or more areas—AI, SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, Data Architecture, Security/Compliance, or Programming—is expected. Experience selling into enterprise accounts with complex evaluation processes, ideally in regulated industries, is highly valued.
