As a Senior Solutions Architect in Professional Services, you will lead technical implementations and drive customer adoption of Chainguard's container image platform. You'll work directly with customers to help them build secure software, partnering closely with account teams (AEs, SEs, CSMs, Support) to understand customer vision, pain points, and develop account-level strategies for value realization and retention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technical implementations and driving adoption of Chainguard images across customer organizations
- Partnering with product and engineering teams to convey customer requirements and influence prioritization
- Acting as "customer zero"—testing, documenting, and ensuring smooth onboarding experiences
- Maintaining account-level architecture and sharing best practices across the organization
- Communicating technical information to both highly technical and non-technical audiences (engineers to executives)
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and business partners
You'll need 4+ years in post-sales customer support roles and 8+ years developing high-performance multi-tier applications with strong Kubernetes and container experience. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT is required. You should be comfortable with 15% travel and located in the Pacific Time Zone. The role offers up to $195,000 base salary plus bonus and equity, with a remote-first culture, 100% covered health insurance, flexible time off, and 18 weeks paid parental leave.
