As a Senior Solutions Architect in Professional Services, you will lead technical implementations and drive customer adoption of Chainguard's container image security platform. You'll be the primary technical point of contact for customers, ensuring successful onboarding and value realization throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end technical implementations, helping customers build securely with open source software across their organizations
- Partnering with account teams (AEs, SEs, CSMs, Support) to understand customer vision, pain points, and develop account-level strategies for retention and growth
- Acting as "customer zero" to test Chainguard Images, document processes, and ensure smooth onboarding experiences
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to convey customer requirements and influence prioritization of image builds
- Maintaining account-level architecture documentation and sharing best practices across the organization
- Communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical engineers and non-technical executives
You'll need 4+ years of post-sales customer support experience and 8+ years developing high-performance multi-tier applications with strong Kubernetes and container expertise. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT is required. You should be comfortable with 15% travel and located in the Eastern Time Zone. The role is fully remote with team meetups and bi-annual destination summits.
