GitLab is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to serve as a strategic technical advisor for prospects and customers in the East region of the United States. In this role, you'll help organizations understand how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform solves technical challenges and advances business goals across the full software development lifecycle.
You'll guide complex technical evaluations, shape long-term architecture choices, and help customers modernize how they plan, build, secure, deploy, and monitor software. Reporting to a regional Solutions Architect Manager and partnering closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams, you'll drive technical strategy for high-value opportunities while bringing customer insights back to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Key responsibilities include: leading technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value activities to accelerate evaluation and improve win rates; owning the technical evaluation process for complex opportunities including solution design, workshop facilitation, and proof-of-concept execution; developing end-to-end technical strategies for assigned accounts that expand platform adoption and enable multi-year transformation; collaborating with Account Executives to shape account and territory plans; advising technical practitioners and business leaders on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices; driving competitive analysis and positioning; representing customer voice to internal teams; and mentoring other Solutions Architects.
This is a senior individual contributor role with broad scope and accountability for complex customer environments and high-impact technical judgment. You'll focus on guiding high-value technical engagements, enabling successful platform adoption, and helping customers see GitLab's differentiated value in the evolving AI and DevSecOps market.
