Chainguard is a venture-backed software supply-chain security company delivering hardened, secure, production-ready builds of open source software. The company serves Fortune 500 enterprises and global leaders including OpenAI, Snap, Snowflake, and HPE.
As a Senior Solutions Architect in Professional Services, you will lead technical implementations and drive customer adoption of Chainguard's container image security platform. You'll be the primary technical contact for customers, partnering with account executives, customer success managers, and support teams to understand customer vision, pain points, and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end technical implementations and onboarding of Chainguard Images across customer organizations
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (sales, customer success, product, engineering) to develop account-level strategies and drive value realization
- Acting as "customer zero" to test, document, and validate product quality and customer experience
- Communicating customer requirements and feedback to product and engineering teams to inform prioritization
- Maintaining architecture best practices and sharing lessons learned across the organization
- Collaborating with highly technical and non-technical stakeholders, from engineers to executives
You'll need 4+ years of post-sales technical support experience and 8+ years developing high-performance multi-tier applications with strong Kubernetes and container expertise. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT required. You must be located in the Central Time Zone and able to travel up to 15% annually. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences are essential.
