Okta is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its EMEA identity security team. Reporting to the EMEA Office of the Field CTO, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and partners, helping them modernize and secure their identity ecosystems using Auth0 and Okta's platform.
In this pre-sales role, you will combine technical expertise with business acumen to accelerate sales cycles and drive customer success. Your responsibilities include:
**Customer Engagement & Solution Design:** Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to understand business objectives and technical challenges. Design and present tailored identity and access management (IAM) solutions. Lead workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and technical deep dives to translate complex identity challenges into actionable solutions.
**Technical Expertise & Enablement:** Deliver architecture workshops, drive proofs of concept and pilot deployments to showcase Auth0 capabilities. Stay current on emerging threats, compliance regulations (GDPR, DORA), and industry trends to guide customers in future-proofing their identity strategies.
**Business Alignment & Thought Leadership:** Align identity solutions with customer business priorities, focusing on efficiency, security maturity, and ROI. Address regional compliance requirements and represent the company as a technical leader at customer meetings, industry events, and webinars.
**Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment:** Partner with account executives and sales engineers to define account strategies. Act as a conduit between customers and product teams. Collaborate with professional services and customer success teams. Engage with partners to support co-sell motions and provide technical enablement.
**Required Skills:** Proficiency in identity protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, LDAP). Understanding of core security concerns (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption, XSS, XSRF). Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs across multiple languages (JavaScript, Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby), and developer tooling. Ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes and articulate ROI. Familiarity with regional compliance frameworks and threat landscapes. Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences.
