Neo4j is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer (PreSales) based in Stockholm to work with strategic and enterprise customers across the Nordics. You will serve as a central technical player in PreSales engagements, supporting customers from early discovery through architecture design, proof-of-value, and long-term adoption.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as a central player in Neo4j PreSales engagements across the entire customer lifecycle
- Build and nurture strong relationships with strategic and enterprise customer teams
- Partner closely with Account Executives to communicate technical and business impact of graph solutions
- Ensure strong technical alignment and smooth integration of Neo4j into customer environments
- Provide architectural recommendations aligned with customer strategies and IT landscapes
- Design and present Neo4j-based prototypes demonstrating technical feasibility and business value
- Lead technical workshops and small-group enablement sessions
- Manage technical aspects of enterprise sales cycles
You will work across key verticals including Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy & Utilities, High-Tech Manufacturing, and Telecommunications. The role combines technical strength with the ability to articulate clear value and outcomes, bridging the gap between business and technology.
Required qualifications:
- At least 5 years in PreSales, Solutions Engineering, or Professional Services, ideally with enterprise customers
- Strong understanding of data platforms, particularly databases
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective solution architectures
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Proven experience guiding technical teams through complex, consultative engagements
- Strong desire to learn and quickly adopt emerging technologies
- Passion for tackling complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings
The role is based in Stockholm with a modern office space. Working from home is fully supported, though occasional in-person availability for customer meetings is required.
