Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to own the end-to-end technical relationship with a single strategically important healthcare customer globally. This is a named-account role focused on a large healthcare organization (payer, provider, life sciences, or health tech platform), where you will drive use case expansion across clinical, operational, and research functions while serving as a trusted technical advisor to C-suite leadership (CTO, CDO, engineering).
Key responsibilities include owning the full technical relationship from discovery through proof of concept, technical close, and ongoing expansion. You will build and deliver compelling demonstrations, solution architectures, and executive presentations that connect Snowflake's platform to the customer's data priorities. You'll design and lead proof-of-concept engagements covering healthcare use cases such as clinical data interoperability, population health analytics, claims and payer data processing, real-world evidence, and AI/ML for diagnostics and care optimization.
As the subject matter expert on healthcare data architecture, you will translate complex regulatory and technical requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, HL7/FHIR) into production-ready Snowflake solutions. You'll partner closely with the Account Executive and Snowflake leadership to co-develop joint success plans and ensure technical alignment across opportunities. You'll serve as the primary internal advocate for the account, coordinating across Product, Professional Services, Support, and Engineering to resolve blockers and accelerate adoption. Additionally, you'll mentor junior Solution Engineers, elevating the technical standard of the global accounts practice.
Required qualifications include 8+ years in pre-sales solution engineering, technical consulting, or data engineering in enterprise B2B technology with significant healthcare or life sciences exposure. You need deep understanding of healthcare data use cases (clinical interoperability, claims analytics, population health, real-world evidence, AI/ML for diagnostics), strong hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms (ideally Snowflake), and proficiency in SQL, Python, and healthcare data engineering tools (dbt, Spark). Excellent executive communication skills and a track record of leading complex technical evaluations and winning competitive PoCs are essential.
Bonus qualifications include direct experience with health systems, payers, life sciences companies, or health tech platforms; hands-on Snowflake experience (Cortex AI, data sharing, Snowpark, Native Apps); familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and regulatory frameworks; experience with real-time clinical data pipelines in regulated environments; and prior named-account or strategic account SE roles.
