OneTrust is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise and product evaluation support for the OneTrust AI-Ready Governance Platform. Reporting to the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering, you will serve as the technical expert during major sales opportunities, preparing and delivering proposals, product demonstrations, RFPs, and custom proof-of-concepts to showcase OneTrust's integration capabilities.
Key responsibilities include conducting technical deep-dive discussions to architect integrations and advise customers on best practices, supporting sales teams with client meetings and presentations, and designing custom integration solutions. You will coordinate with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner teams to stay current on product capabilities and future direction. Your work will involve conducting custom proof-of-concept evaluations and maintaining a clear understanding of the privacy industry, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape to support all primary responsibilities.
You bring a BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, with 2+ years of relevant experience ideally in the technology industry or enterprise cloud-based software companies. You have expertise in selling, configuring, and delivering software demonstrations, as well as implementing software products to enterprise customers. Strong relationship-building skills across R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering teams are essential, along with entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a complex, rapidly evolving environment. German fluency is required. Nice-to-have skills include hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS, PowerShell scripting, ASP.NET, and C#, plus advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming. The role requires approximately 10% travel. OneTrust embraces an office-first culture with expectations of three days per week in office for most roles.
