Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Product Manager to own and build the Factory Systems platform (Forge Factory) within ArsenalOS Connected Factory. This is a ground-up product build opportunity spanning multiple manufacturing-adjacent platforms that enable production managers, manufacturing engineers, and automation engineers to map the physical world to a digital operating environment and execute workflows at scale.
The role requires owning the complete product lifecycle: defining strategy and roadmap, scoping and shipping an MVP, iterating based on user feedback and business outcomes, and driving adoption across internal and external stakeholders. You will work across manufacturing, reliability, and product operations teams to unify how locations, work centers, tools, and assets are modeled across warehouse management systems (WMS), manufacturing execution systems (MES), and asset management systems (AMS), along with multiple sensor systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Forge Factory with clear rationale
- Build the product from ground up: MVP definition, shipping, and iteration based on real feedback
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to connect workflows into one coherent operating environment
- Define integration strategy between manufacturing systems and adjacent platforms (MES, ERP, AMS, WMS)
- Leverage AI and modern tooling to accelerate development, from prototyping to intelligent workflows
- Establish metrics and feedback loops tied to business outcomes (line setup time, changeover time, asset uptime, manual reconciliation reduction)
- Own prioritization, scope, tradeoffs, release planning, and execution quality across cross-functional engineering teams
- Drive adoption so business teams and external partners actually use the platform
- Document decisions and communicate roadmap clearly to align stakeholders
The role sits at the intersection of software product management and manufacturing operations. Every gap between the digital model and physical reality impacts production speed; closing that gap is the core mission. You will zoom from improving how a single user commissions a smart tool to designing systems, data models, and integrations that connect all manufacturing systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of product management experience building enterprise platforms with high complexity, multiple stakeholders, and cross-organizational dependencies
- Strong domain knowledge in complex operational environments with many personas and distinct roles
- Proven experience building net-new products from vision through MVP to scaled adoption
- Experience building or managing B2B platforms where multiple organizations interact through shared workflows and data exchange
- Experience defining and shipping software that integrates with adjacent enterprise systems (ERP, MES, AMS, WMS, or internal data platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI/ML and modern tooling to accelerate product development, from rapid prototyping to intelligent features
- Ownership of end-to-end products with measurable business outcomes (not just shipping, but impact)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for operators, engineers, business leaders, and executives
- U.S. Person status required (position may need access to export-controlled data)
- Ability to work in-office full-time and willingness to travel to operational sites as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, defense, automation, automotive, or other high-complexity physical product environments
- Experience with multi-tenant platforms and systems serving internal users with differing access and workflow requirements
- Comfort producing mockups, wireframes, or interactive prototypes rapidly (design tools, AI-assisted generation, or code)
