Precision for Medicine is a clinical trial and biomarker analytics company that accelerates drug development by combining assay development, patient stratification, and global logistics under one roof. We work with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to dramatically reduce time-to-approval through biomarker-driven trial design and execution.
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Bangalore engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-scale, secure software platforms that support our clinical trial operations and biomarker analytics. This role requires both hands-on technical execution and the ability to lead technical initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud-based platforms using modern web frameworks and cloud services (Azure, AWS)
- Lead the development and implementation of business-critical software initiatives and products
- Architect solutions that integrate custom-developed and off-the-shelf technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business strategy into technical solutions
- Manage full software development lifecycle including planning, execution, testing, and deployment
- Optimize database performance, SQL queries, and data management practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Required Experience:
- 6+ years building and delivering software products and solutions
- 3+ years leading development of business initiatives and technical projects
- Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, Angular, React, or Node.js
- Strong SQL Server and database design expertise
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to build high-scale, secure platforms
- Agile software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
