Traba is building an AI operating system for the industrial supply chain, automating workflows across warehouses, manufacturers, logistics providers, and staffing operations. The company started as a fast-growing temporary staffing platform and has expanded into a suite of AI agents that help industrial businesses automate manual workflows, derive data insights, and improve decision intelligence.
In this Senior Software Engineer role focused on Applied AI, you will apply frontier AI models and existing agents across Traba's full product stack—worker apps, business platforms, operations dashboards, and marketplace systems. You'll work on high-impact automation problems including worker vetting, matching algorithms, and fulfillment pipelines. This is fundamentally a product-engineering role where you ship reliable, scalable automation rather than building AI infrastructure internals.
You will lead frontend and backend development, mentor other engineers, and architect core systems including real-time matching engines, autonomous vetting pipelines, distributed systems, and APIs. You'll own product surfaces end-to-end, partnering closely with product and design teams, and report to the CTO on architecture and roadmap decisions.
You bring 5+ years of full-stack experience across TypeScript, React/React Native, Node.js, and Python. You're strong with APIs, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ). Critically, you have hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into shipped products—including prompting, tool wiring, and evaluation. You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous early-stage environments and have a track record of shipping scalable products. You're an applier, not a researcher: you take frontier models and wire them into real product across the stack, and you're comfortable moving between API design, UX, and deployment infrastructure.
