Anthropic is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain the Salesforce platform powering the company's core customer motions and quote-to-cash business processes. This role encompasses automation across sales, product catalog, pricing, quoting, approvals, order and contract management, and handoff to billing and provisioning systems.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Apex (triggers, services, selectors, batch/queueable), Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation following house standards. You will design and build quote-to-cash infrastructure including product catalog and pricing data models, quote and order lifecycle management, discount and approval automation, and amendment/renewal flows. The role involves extending CPQ capabilities and expanding into agentic selling with custom pricing and quote-calculation logic.
You will build and own integrations between Salesforce and billing, provisioning, and finance systems such as Stripe, Metronome, and NetSuite, either directly or via middleware. Supporting new product and pricing launches by modeling catalog, SKU, and pricing changes for quick release and consistent downstream reflection is critical. You'll use Claude and internal AI development tooling as a first-class part of your build and code-review workflow.
Collaboration is essential—you'll partner with Business Systems analysts, Finance, DevOps, and cross-functional stakeholders (RevOps, Order Management, Legal, Billing Engineering, Deal Desk, Product) to translate requirements into scalable solutions. You'll operate with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business, resolve problems independently, and propose solutions that scale. Responsibilities include ensuring appropriate controls, test coverage, and documentation for an effective control environment, particularly around pricing, discounting, and contract changes.
Minimum qualifications include hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, SOQL, LWC, Flow) in production orgs, experience building or extending CPQ and quote-to-cash functionality, integration experience with billing/ERP/provisioning systems, fluency with SFDX and source-controlled metadata, active use of AI-assisted development tools, basic SQL skills, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications, deep understanding of platform constraints and governor limits, end-to-end CPQ implementation experience, familiarity with billing platforms and usage-based pricing models, and proven experience scaling Salesforce in high-growth GTM environments.
