Nucleus Security is a growth-stage cybersecurity startup transforming vulnerability management for large enterprises. The company builds a fast, scalable platform that replaces manual, catch-up processes with intelligent, automated solutions. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for the AUS region, you will own production reliability, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. Key responsibilities include: **Production Operations & Reliability**: Maintain highly available, secure, and performant production systems. Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate troubleshooting, identify risks, and improve incident response. **Infrastructure & Cloud**: Own and improve Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift. Use AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed and operational consistency. **Observability & Automation**: Build monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards that reduce operational toil. Apply intelligent automation to correlate signals, surface anomalies, assist with root-cause analysis, and automate common SRE workflows. **Technical Leadership**: Provide mentorship to engineers and drive a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement. **Required Experience**: 8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. Deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, production container orchestration, and highly available infrastructure. Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), scripting (Python, Bash), CI/CD platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, CloudWatch). Proven incident response, root-cause analysis, and production troubleshooting expertise. Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and identifying automation opportunities. Strong Linux, networking, security, and distributed systems knowledge. Must be located in AUS region with citizenship in current country of residence. **Preferred**: Experience integrating LLMs or AI-enabled tools into engineering workflows, AI-assisted log analysis and anomaly detection, building internal automation combining APIs and AI models, and safe AI use in production environments.
