As Senior SEO Manager, you will lead advanced SEO strategy development and execution for large-scale enterprise accounts, reporting to the SEO Director.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies covering technical SEO, content optimization, and link-building initiatives. You will lead technical SEO programs for enterprise clients, conducting in-depth audits to resolve issues with site architecture, crawlability, and indexation. You'll collaborate directly with clients to understand their goals and provide strategic recommendations for organic growth and enhanced online visibility.
You will oversee SEO roadmap creation and maintenance, ensuring projects deliver within budget and timeline constraints. The role involves leveraging data pipelines and cloud technology to automate processes and build reporting datasets using tools like GA4, Adobe Analytics, and Google Search Console. You'll stay current with SEO industry trends and algorithm updates, adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
A critical component of this role is mentoring and supporting junior SEO professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within your team.
Required qualifications include 6+ years in web technologies (servers, applications, middleware, front-end frameworks) and their SEO implications. You need proven expertise developing and executing SEO strategies for large-scale websites, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and demonstrated experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff. Proficiency with enterprise analytics platforms and ability to extract insights from large datasets is essential.
