Jellyfish is a global digital marketing agency combining tech expertise, creative talent, and data specialists to drive client digital transformation. This role is a senior practitioner and account leadership position for Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) across the EMEA region, reporting to the GEO Lead in EMEA and sitting within the Media team. You will serve as a senior GEO partner to a portfolio of Tier 1 EMEA accounts, running strategic conversations with CMOs, brand leads, and search leaders. The primary objective is moving clients from AI curiosity to AI maturity, measured by how many accounts in your portfolio advance along the maturity curve and how quickly. You will drive adoption of advanced GEO practices, translating global GEO methodology into EMEA market reality across fragmented search landscapes (Google, ChatGPT Search, Claude, Gemini, and regional search engines), with particular focus on CPG, retail, and financial services sectors. Approximately 75% of your time involves client work: architecting retained GEO engagements spanning content authority, technical optimization, structured data, entity reinforcement, AI training-signal optimization, and agentic readiness. You will own quarterly business review narratives for major accounts, lead annual planning conversations on GEO's contribution to growth, and diagnose AI-mediated search risks. You will coach senior client-facing teams on GEO positioning and serve as the EMEA voice into global product priorities, surfacing regional learnings into the global practice. The remaining 25% focuses on new business development: supporting EMEA pitches with Share of Model diagnostics, shaping the GEO commercial narrative, and converting opportunities into retained revenue. You will contribute to EMEA industry visibility through conferences (SMX London, DMEXCO, BrightonSEO) and secure platform alpha/beta access through direct relationships with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon teams. Required: 6+ years in SEO, search strategy, or digital media with direct experience in AI-influenced search environments and at least one major EMEA enterprise account. You must translate model behavior and citation analysis into business consequences for senior marketing stakeholders, understand knowledge graphs, structured data, embeddings, and training signals, and have a track record of converting AI capability into retained revenue. Deep familiarity with the fragmented EMEA search landscape, regulatory backdrop, and how AI-mediated discovery varies across CPG, retail, financial services, and tech sectors is essential. You share knowledge, raise the bar for colleagues, and make it easy for teams across accounts to execute GEO correctly.
