Fiverr is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to define and drive SEO strategy for scalable organic growth across global markets on the core Fiverr marketplace. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, requiring deep technical SEO expertise alongside understanding of how search is evolving beyond traditional rankings into AI-powered discovery experiences.
You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Content, and Marketing teams to build scalable processes, shape roadmaps, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and connect organic growth directly to business performance. The ideal candidate is an experienced SEO and organic growth professional with a strong background in large-scale platforms or marketplaces, proven ability to operate in fast-moving cross-functional environments, and expertise in both classic SEO and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing SEO strategy focused on complex marketplace dynamics and US/global search opportunities
- Driving visibility across AI search experiences such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and other LLM-powered discovery surfaces
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize high-impact organic growth initiatives
- Building data-driven processes and frameworks to measure and optimize SEO performance
- Staying ahead of search evolution and emerging trends in AI-powered discovery
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SEO specialist or organic growth professional at large-scale platforms or marketplaces
- Deep technical SEO expertise combined with strategic thinking
- Strong understanding of emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI search experiences
- Highly data-driven mindset with ability to connect efforts to business outcomes
- Experience operating in fast-moving, cross-functional environments
- Fluency in both classic SEO and emerging search technologies
