Aledade is seeking a Senior Security Engineer II - Application Security to design, implement, and maintain security services supporting the business. This role combines deep technical expertise with cross-functional partnership across engineering, product, and operations teams to drive impactful security outcomes and strengthen the company's digital landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing application security solutions and services
- Leveraging data and automation to scale security practices across the organization
- Collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams to identify and mitigate security risks
- Maintaining and improving security infrastructure and tooling
- Driving security best practices and standards across the engineering organization
- Contributing to threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security architecture reviews
The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in application security, understands how to operationalize security at scale, and excels at cross-functional collaboration. Experience with cloud platforms, secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and security automation is valued. The role offers flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the US or from the Bethesda, MD headquarters office.
